Repairing is sustainable!
What should you do with broken chair, a toaster that no longer works, or a wool sweater with moth holes?
Throw it away? No way!
That’s what the Repair Café at Café Grenzenlos is for.
In a relaxed atmosphere, people come together to tinker, repair, and share knowledge. It’s a meeting with volunteers where you repair broken items on your own or together with others. Tools and materials for repairing clothing, furniture, electrical appliances, bicycles, toys, and much more are available.
Everyone is welcome—whether you enjoy repairing, want to learn, or simply want to watch.
Our goal: to counter the throwaway culture with sustainability and repair knowledge.
Too often, household appliances and cherished items are discarded because repairs are expensive or seem not worthwhile. Sometimes, this is even intended by manufacturers—and we want to challenge that.
